Developing Bibically Grounded Followers of Christ

Women

Hello and Welcome to

Mom to Mom 2008-2009!

Mom to Mom is a program to support and   encourage the moms of Grace Community Church and our community. The Leadership Team is excited to announce the “birthing” of our new Evening Edition (EE). If you are a mom who is unable to attend the Morning Edition (ME) because you work outside your home, run a home  business, or just simply can’t attend the morning group, then the Evening  Edition is for you.

If you are a mom whose calendar is open on Wednesday morning, you will find the Morning Edition to be the perfect niche for you.

We are excited to put on a “new look” by  adding a wonderful cadre of Godly women who will join the Leadership Team at both editions to serve as Mentor Moms.  We are confident that their love, wisdom, and life-experiences will be a support and encouragement to all moms.

The programs will feature the same topics,  special features, and speakers.  Morning Edition will continue to meet for brunch on Wednesday morning, 9 am-11 am. Evening Edition will meet for a light supper on Tuesday evening, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm.

A one-time registration fee of $10.00 is requested.

Confirmation of attendance for each meeting will be required.  This can be done either at a sign-up station or online @gcc-online.org. Mom to Mom sign-up!

Child care will be provided for Morning Edition.

Our Purpose

The thrust of our programs and teaching will come from Titus 2:3-5.  We will endeavor to stay true to the scripture as follows:

“Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.

Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”
