There are three different types of Community Life Groups. Each group has a purpose and goal and each accomplishes our vision of "growing together in Christ."
Foyer (Find Community):
Distinctives:
The purpose of a Kitchen Group is to become family. This means they are deeply connected to one another. They know each other and love one another as family. True accountability exists in this type of group. It is ideal that a Kitchen Group stay together for a while, and then eventually serve the church by starting new groups.

Purpose: Help people FIND community
Distinctives:
- Come as you are, when you can
- New believers’ groups from JH
- New people to Grace
- NO time commitment
- NO formal study
- Prayer
- Care
- Informal Getting together in someone’s home
- OPEN year round
Leadership Needs:
- Hospitality
- Facilitate discussion
- Heart for new people and/or unbelievers
Goals:- A Living Room Group forms
- People come to know Christ as Savior
- Hospitality
Living Room (Familiar with Community):
Purpose: Help people to develop FAMILIAIRITY with one another
and build trusting relationships.

- Choose studies to fit group’s needs

Goals:
- A Kitchen Group forms
- Grow to love one another

Kitchen (Have become Family):
Purpose: Know one another like FAMILY, growing together in Christ.
Distinctives:
- Stay together for a longer period of time (2-3 years)
- Study
- Prayer
- Care/Minister
- Accountability
- Meet constantly outside of official group meetings (living life together)
- Not open to new people unless all feel strongly otherwise
Goals:
- Grow spiritually, relationally with Christ at the center
- Accountability groups form (men to men and women to women)
- Humbly pray toward starting new groups (birthing) after a period of time
