Mike and Kris Reed ~ AWANA Ministry
Mike and Kris are serving Central and Western Kansas with AWANA Clubs International as faith-supported missionaries. The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed as taken from II Timothy 2:15. Awana is an international, Bible-centered children's ministry and youth ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs, training and programs. Our goal is to eqquip churches and parents in Kansas to raise spiritual champions who know, love and serve Christ using integrated programs for ages 2 to 18, resources for Bible-based parenting and discipleship, child and family evangelism and specialized volunteer training.
Mike and Kris live with their four children in Newton and serve over 130 churches in their territory. Mike and Kris and their volunteer ministry team come alongside churches to assist them with their outreach, discipleship and volunteer training.
