Edith Buller-Breer communications/facility rental
Although I did not begin attending Grace regularly until July 2005, my two sons were part of the YAC group during their high school years, beginning in January 2000. I have enjoyed worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ and serving the Body here. The Community Life group I am a part of has especially helped me feel connected. I am excited about using my skills, education and experience as I serve the Body in my full-time hours at Grace.

Carla, a native Kansan, was born and raised in McPherson, Kansas. She attended Central College where she received an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education, and where she met her husband of twenty-seven years, Kevin, an avid "Husker" fan. They have one married daughter, Melissa, who teaches and resides in Jacksonville, Florida. Carla counts it a privilege to work at GCC. In her spare time she enjoys quilting, baking and fellowship with their Community Life Group and family.
Anna is a born and raised Kansan, growing up here in the Newton and Hesston communities. Here at Grace, she enjoys the opportunity to assist in the office with sectretarial duties, specializing in computer work. Being the youngest in the office, she has the opportunity to use her "tech savvy" to serve the body of Christ. When she gets in too deep, Anna calls her husband Richard, an electrical engineer at Cessna, to bail her out. They have been happily married since 2006.
Mark and Bonnie Ekeland custodians
Mark and Bonnie started attending Grace Community Church in 1991 when they moved to Kansas from North Dakota. They have three boys, now all married to three wonderful daughters-in-law, and three grandsons. Mark and Bonnie met while attending Grace College of the Bible (now Grace University) in Omaha. They have been married for 27 years and are discovering the joys of parenting adult children and grandparenting. What an adventure!
Bonnie serves as a custodian at Grace with Mark helping out on the weekends. Mark works as operations manager and morning personality at KBBE in McPherson. Bonnie says the great part about working at Grace is the feeling you get that "Grace" is more than just a part of the name. God's grace is such an undeserved gift. We hope that is reflected in our work as we extend grace to others that we serve, and when they extend it to us when things aren't as perfect as we'd like them to be!
